The dreaded FOMO isn’t just for parties, SXSW, and other big tech events. It exists online. What great stuff is happening online that I don’t know about? Is everyone seeing amazing design ideas, getting great advice, and learning interesting things just because they know where to find it and I don’t?!?
Step One: relax. They’re probably not, and they’re probably worried about the same thing you are anyway. Step Two: check this out. Kippt is a simple, well-designed bookmarking web app built by a couple of Finnish designers. A Y-Combinator participant, Kippt has some lofty plans to change the way people collect and share links. I just want to share one aspect of it with you today, however, and that’s Kippt Lists. Similar to following someone on Pinterest, following someone on Kippt exposes you to everything they’ve collected on a particular subject. Pretty awesome concept, with a great example here: 83 links about conceiving, building, and running startups.
